WHAT

Digital Ministries is offering a free website/blog account on our WordPress server. We will set it up and help you manage it, OR we will manage it for you. This server can be used to create and integrate together both a website and a blog:

Website: a collection of static web pages linked together with a navigational scheme that your viewers use to select content. The content of these pages can be text, graphics, photos, video, files for download or any type of information that can be posted to the Internet. You usually setup the web pages when you design the website, and then modify the content of the pages to keep them current.

Blog: a growing collection of articles, or "posts" organized by date, title, category, topic or key word. These posts can contain text, graphics, photos, video and other files, just like web pages. You can author your posts  in several convenient ways, making it easy to get the information "out there" quickly. If you have a Twitter, Facebook or other social networking account, a notice can be automatically sent out to let your followers know there is a new post on your blog. Several people in your ministry can be authors.

We have selected and specially modified several dynamic themes to help define your website/blog and get it up and running quickly. All you have to do is define the purpose, and supply the content.

HOW

Getting started is as simple as following these 4 steps:

1. Read the offer qualifications and related pages, so you understand the conditions of our offer.
2. Determine the purpose of your website, and the audience you need to reach. Then complete the website request form.
3. Assist us in designing your website by determining the initial pages that will be needed,  heading graphics, navigational structure and page content.
4. Collect and submit the text, graphics, photos and video that will be used on your site.
